EnglischPlus Schools Leoben is an English-language educational programme in Leoben that offers diverse and high-quality education for students from different backgrounds and cultures at the Pestalozzi primary school and the Europagymnasium Leoben. Your child has the opportunity to attend classes with a focus on English-language lessons from the first year of primary school up to the Matura.
Offer at Primary School
Since the 2022/23 school year, Pestalozzi primary school has been running a multi-grade class that covers an English-language education path on elementary school level.
The prerequisite that pupils have a command of English at native speaker level is no longer necessary for attending this class from the 2026/27 school year.

Offer at Gymnasium
Since 2017, the Europagymnasium Leoben has been running so called “Europe-classes” with English as a working language (EAA), in which English is offered as a language of instruction in at least two other subjects in addition to the regular English lessons.
For language-enthusiastic children with a keen interest in the English language with German or English as their mother tongue or second language.
