Parking for Residents of Parking Zone Areas

Overview

Who is entitled? People with their principal place of residence in one of the parking zones that are subject to parking charges can apply for a discounted parking sticker for their residential zone (zone A, B or C). Even if only part of a building is within one of the three zones, its residents are still entitled to buy this parking sticker.
Where does the parking sticker apply? It entitles you to park in the green and blue parking zones within your residential zone. If you wish, you can also buy the annual permit for the entire green parking zone for a surcharge.

Reduced rate parking stickers for residents living within short-term parking zones:

Costs: EUR 74.30
Valid: for 1 year

Optional extra charge for green zone:

In addition to the parking permit for your residential zone, you can buy an annual permit for the entire green zone.

Additional charge: EUR 295.70
Valid: for 1 year

Applying for parking permit sticker

You can apply for the parking sticker via online form or at Leoben City Hall:

Please use the online form (in German)
You pay in advance by bank transfer.
Make your choice: have the sticker sent to you or pick it up

Necessary documents:

Copy of the vehicle registration certificate (Zulassungsschein)
Copy of your residence registration certificate (Meldezettel)
Payment confirmation (bank transfer)
If the vehicle is not registered in your name: lease contract

Please apply for the parking sticker at the Public Utilities Point of Sale at Leoben City Hall.
You make your payment on site in cash, by ATM card or credit card.
If all documents are complete, the sticker will be made out immediately.
